TBS’s Wipeout premiered with ratings that made it the number-one new cable reality show of the year so far, but it’s also been losing viewers since then. Maybe because it’s terrible?

Wipeout has been revived on TBS, and has actually managed to make Nicole Byer and John Cena appear dull while turning its obstacle courses into a collection of GIFs rather than a coherent episode.
TBS promised its revival of Wipeout would “push contestants’ athleticism and willpower to even greater extremes” and “further challenge, and wear out, the stamina of the competitors.” One of its contestants just died after running the course.
TBS is reviving Wipeout, and is now casting for people who want to bounce off of objects in spectacular ways.
