Survivor 5 officially picked up. CBS will definitely air Survivor 5, officially picking the series up after the ratings of Survivor Marquesas have been consistently higher than Survivor Africa. Locations under consideration are “Central America, South America and Asia” according to Reuters.

Survivor 5 may be filmed in Peru. Survivor 5, set to begin filming in May, could possibly tape in Peru rainforest, according to a rumor published by Futurizmo.
Survivor 5 applications due Friday. Survivor 4, otherwise known as Survivor Marquesas, has yet to begin, but CBS is looking for the cast of Survivor 5. The original deadline has been extended; now, all applications and videos are due this Friday, Feb. 15.
