ABC plans live chats with “executed” players. After being kicked off of The Mole, or “executed,” as the show calls it–players will chat live with the public at 7 pm. EST. Tonight: Wendi, who got the boot last night, shattering some theories about who might be the mole.
Temptation Island ratings rise 10 percent over last week’s premiere. Temptation Island‘s second week had better ratings than last week, gaining 10 percent more viewers and earning FOX some of its best ratings ever for the evening and otherwise.+ plus: The Mole’s ratings dropped 16 percent in week two.
Anderson Cooper: The Mole is “a lot smarter” than Survivor. Swimming into dangerous waters, Anderson Cooper brazenly says that the show he hosts, The Mole, is “better than Survivor.” + plus: Afi was “executed” Tuesday.
Joyce Millman doesn’t care who the Survivor “rip-off” Mole is. Calling The Mole a Survivor, from the castaways to the host, Salon.com’s TV critic, Joyce Millman, isn’t impressed by ABC’s newest reality TV show.
ratings: The Mole comes in second. The Mole was beat in its time slot, but had more viewers than Regis Philbin’s Who Wants to be a Millionaire did in the same time slot. It also did well among “youngsters” (hey, headline writer, could you be a little more condescending?).
