The Challenge: USA made Challenge history with its final, but not for reasons that its Survivor, Big Brother, Amazing Race, or Love Island players will brag about. The Challenge’s producers shouldn’t brag, either.
MTV says The Challenge is “the greatest competition series” on television. But the CBS version of its flagship, The Challenge: USA, has offered challenges that paled in comparison to Survivor and Tough As Nails—and even Big Brother.

On The Challenge: USA episode 9, a Connect Four challenge gave the players a chance to sabotage each other, while the Fab Five, led by Sarah, faced off against Alyssa and Angela.
On The Challenge USA episode 8, pairs were dissolved and even though it was a “men’s elimination” day, meaning half the players were out of contention, a Survivor winner volunteered anyway.
