Talking reality TV with two reality TV podcasters

I recently had two conversations about reality TV and my work with two different reality TV podcasters: former reality show cast member Susie Meister and current Bachelor spoiler “Reality Steve” Carbone.

Steve posted our conversation yesterday, and spoiler alert, we barely talk about The Bachelor! Instead, we cover everything from criticism of our criticism to the challenges of online advertising, plus ABC’s accelerated schedules for American Idol and Dancing with the Stars.

Challenge alumni Susie Meister and Sarah Rice host the Brain Candy Podcast, and it has a patrons-only spin-off, 15 Minutes of Blame, which features interviews with reality TV-adjacent people. For the April 30 episode, that was me. Susie and I talked about our love of reality TV and holding reality TV accountable, plus a lot more.

Both were really fun conversations, and I was grateful to be their guest. I hope you enjoy listening to them:
