The competitors on NBC’s American Ninja Warrior consistently show off impressive athleticism as they navigate the show’s obstacle course. But I cannot ever recall seeing something as nuts as Jake Murray’s approach to the warped wall:

Yes, he’s showing off and grandstanding, but who cares, it was amazing. And at the time, his run was the fastest of Monday night’s Indianapolis finals, though someone else later beat him by almost a minute. He ended up coming in second for the evening, and he made the finals.

Jake Murray has appeared on the show previously, and earned attention for his performance and even his failed attempt to get on the show, a Footloose parody that earned the attention of Kevin Bacon.
