Thursday, CBS revealed its storylines for season finales for both its scripted and unscripted shows. They give some details about the episode, but typically don’t reveal major plot points. For example, here’s what last week’s episode description said:

“It’s Psychological Warfare” – A separation in tribes leads to the ultimate sabotage. Also, a schoolyard pick draws a line in the sand at a tough reward challenge, on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, April 13 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The finale description for Survivor Kaoh Rong: Brains vs Brawn vs Beauty, however, seems like it reveals a major spoiler about the finale.

At the very least, it makes a specific promise about how the game will play out. (Consider this a warning to stop reading now if you don’t want to know.)

Survivor Khao Rong finale spoiler?

Here’s the listing:

SURVIVOR (8:00-10:00 PM) – 2-Hour Season Finale

Castaways from all three tribes – Brains, Brawn and Beauty – remain, and one will be crowned the Sole Survivor during the two-hour season finale, followed by the Live Reunion Show (10:00-11:00 PM) hosted by Emmy Award winner Jeff Probst.

This description—assuming it is accurately written and not accidentally or purposefully misleading—says one person from each original tribe will remain in the finale. With four episodes to go before the finale and eight people left in the game, that means there will be a four-person finale, if my math is right.

These Survivors remain in the game:

  1. Brains: Aubry or Joe
  2. Brawn: Cydney, Jason, or Scot
  3. Beauty: Michele, Julia, Tai

While there are a lot of possibilities of a final four, with at least one from each group, it’s still quite revealing, and will be increasingly so with each subsequent episode. For example, if Aubry or Joe are voted out, the other will stay until the finale; if Jason or Scot are medevaced because of their obvious infection of Juvenileous Asshaterous, Cydney will be in the final four.
