Reality TV dominating ratings right now

Last week, 13 of the top 20 broadcast network shows were reality TV, and if the FIFA World Cup game and post-game wouldn’t have been included, 100 percent of the top 10 shows would have been reality television.

All four networks have shows in the top 10 non-sports shows, too, though NBC is dominating with six of the 13 reality shows. America’s Got Talent remains the number-one show among both younger viewers and total viewers.

Among viewers 18-49 during the week of June 29 to July 5, here’s how reality shows ranked:

3. America’s Got Talent (Tuesday), NBC
4. American Ninja Warrior, NBC
5. The Bachelorette, ABC
6. Big Brother (Wednesday), CBS
7. Big Brother (Thursday), CBS
8. Big Brother (Sunday), CBS
9. Celebrity Family Feud, ABC
10. I Can Do That, NBC
11. Masterchef, Fox
14. American Ninja Warrior (Wednesday repeat), NBC
15. Battlebots, ABC
17. America’s Got Talent (Wednesday recap), NBC
18. The Island, NBC

The order changes when shows are ranked by total viewers:

1. America’s Got Talent (Tuesday), NBC
6. Celebrity Family Feud, ABC
8. American Ninja Warrior, NBC
9. The Bachelorette, ABC
13. Big Brother (Wednesday), CBS
14. Big Brother (Thursday), CBS
16. America’s Got Talent (Wednesday recap), NBC
21. I Can Do That, NBC
23. Big Brother (Sunday), CBS
