America’s Got Talent kept up the entertainment in its second episode and, for the most part, the talent. I’m just enjoying it so much, from the banter between the judges to the acts, from the outstanding to the bad. Even the acts with obvious tricks were amusing, like the guy who regurgitated things.
But no brief recap of the second episode of the show’s 10th season can start without a mention of Youngblood, a guy who did this:
Yes, he sucked milk through his nose and squirted it out his eye. A nice little arc went an impressive distance into a martini glass. As gross and weird as that was, he thankfully didn’t make it through. Some acts that
The episode started with DM Nation, a dance group that was just incredible to watch. I rewound and watched part of its act over and over again.
There was also 87-year-old Shirley Claine, whose singing was pretty great, and 14-year-old Benjamin Yonattan, who’s going blind and can barely see, but did terrific contemporary dance.
The show ended on this high note, a dance by a group called Freckled Sky. It earned a surprising response from Howard Stern:
