Some people are DVRing Idol to watch later, and its ratings improve in live+3 ratings, when three days of DVR usage are factored in, but it’s still nowhere close to other reality series: American Idol came in at #21 (for the week ending April 5) while Survivor was #8 on all of broadcast television, The Voice was #3, and Dancing with the Stars was #14.
Last week, when Survivor faced off against both shows on Wednesday, it beat both of them. Again, impressive.
