Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi doesn’t understand the popularity of a picture she posted which shows her running on the beach in a bikini and that invites viewers to search for the shape of a penis in her swimsuit.
The Instagram photo, below, shows Padma mid-stride during a powerful run, floating in the air on the beach as waves crash behind her. It’s gorgeous. But the caption says it all:
My friend claims it looks like I have a penis in this pic. One guess as to whether he’s gay or not…
And one guess as to why people are sharing it and looking closely at certain parts of the image.
But this weekend, Padma told People, I clearly don’t understand the ins and outs of Instagram, I’m always amazed at what gets a lot of attention … I didn’t expect that.”
