Danny Bonaduce will not face charges for flipping dry-humping Jon “Jonny Fairplay” Dalton over his head at the Fox Reality Channel awards last week.
A document from the DA’s office said that a battery claim couldn’t be proven because of “insufficient evidence,” and because Jon Dalton “initiated contact and acted offensively,” according to the AP. In the document, “Deputy District Attorney Jeffrey Boxer wrote that Bonaduce did not intentionally injure Fairplay and his ‘actions fell within the realm of self-defense.'” More amusingly, the DA’s document noted that Dalton “wrapped his arms and legs around the suspect and thrust his pelvis into the suspect’s body.” Yes, he humped Danny Bonaduce’s face.
That ends a saga that helped earn sympathy for a reality star that not many people had sympathy for, Danny Bonaduce, and led many to come to the conclusion that the guy with a mouth full of broken teeth, Jon Dalton, had it coming. And while the show’s host, Kennedy, didn’t actually see that moment, she details on Fancast what happened immediately afterwards (and throughout the evening). She reveals that after the on-stage drama happened, Fairplay “did pull the ultimate dick move by ripping a camera out of the make up artist’s hands and smashing it on the ground,” she writes. “When you straddle and dry hump a man onstage in front of thirty cameras and hundreds of people you have momentarily compromised your right to privacy.”
