Amazing Race filmed yesterday in New Jersey

The Amazing Race 8 taped in New Jersey yesterday, reality blurred has learned. Is it the start (or end) of the race? Or a stop along the way?

A reader reports that yesterday in Hopewell, NJ, traffic reports alerted drivers that the show was filming in the area around Hopewell, and specifically in Washington’s Crossing State Park.

Our correspondent has the details:

On yesterday’s (Thursday, July 7) rush hour traffic report on 101.5 here in New Jersey they were recommending that people steer clear of the town of Hopewell and Washington’s Crossing State Park until after 8:00 PM when they were expected to wrap shooting for the Amazing Race.
