Average Joe finale beats Monday Night Football with 17.4 million viewers.
Melana’s shallow, heartless decision may have disappointed those who have hearts or consciences, but it probably made NBC execs more excited than a bull at a dairy farm. Average Joe gave the network its highest ratings in the 18 to 49 demographic on a Monday night during that time slot in 10 years. With 17.4 million viewers, the show easily beat ABC’s Monday Night Football by more than 3 million viewers, TV Week reports. By the way, if you’d like to point at Melana and laugh, Reality News Online makes that possible, as they’ve reprinted her high school yearbook photos. In them, she sort of looks like a cross between Ann Coulter and that woman from Wings.
