The debut of The Next Joe Millionaire flopped, placing sixth in the time slot with only 6.6 million viewers. Even 7th Heaven had better ratings. FOX entertainment president Gail Berman tells the AP, “We’re disappointed. I wish I knew what happened last night.” Gail, here’s what happened: You were beaten by a WB show for being greedy bastards, trying to squeeze even more cash out of a successful but definitely one-note show.
