Paige’s “job could be on the line” because of almost-naked TV Guide cover.

by Andy Dehnart 11 Aug. 2003 | 8:00 am

Paige’s “job could be on the line” because of almost-naked TV Guide cover.
Trading Spaces host Paige Davis appears on the cover of the Aug. 16 TV Guide wearing nothing but strips of wallpaper. That prompted “a TLC staffer called the magazine’s photo department and asked them to run another shot, citing the no-nudity clause in Davis’ TLC contract,” gossip column Page Six reports. And “Davis’ personal publicist followed up with another phone call and said Davis’ job could be on the line.” But TV Guide went with the cover anyway, although the magazine’s web site shows two different covers, including the nearly naked one.
