Simon signs $2 million book deal.
Simon Cowell will receive $2 million to write a book titled “I Don’t Mean to be Rude, But…” The book will focus on the show and be co-written by his brother, Tony Cowell, a journalist in the UK. Simon previously wrote The X Factor, “[a]n insider’s guide to the pop industry,” which will be released in the US this Dec.
