American Idol 2 finalists will release charity single, love songs album in April.
In April, the American Idol 2 finalists will release two albums. The first is a single of the 1965 Jackie DeShannon hit “What the World Needs Now Is Love.” Billboard reports that “a portion of the proceeds [from the single will go] to the Red Cross.” Kelly Clarkson’s debut album, Thankful, will be released on the same day. A few weeks later, a compilation album of love songs, titled American Idol Season 2: All Time Classic American Love Songs, will be released.
+ plus: Junior Idol is now casting; debuts June 3.
