tonight: Trading Spaces celeb episode features Dixie Chicks’ lead singer.
One of Trading Spaces fans is Dixie Chicks lead singer Natalie Maines, and tonight, she and her mother will trade spaces for a celebrity edition of the show. Natalie worked with Hildi, and says the designer “gets a bum rap. I see how people’s rooms looked before she comes in, and whether they like it or not, in my opinion, they need to like it. It’s better than their own taste.” Vern Yip redecorated her bedroom along with her mother and sister, while she, her cousin and Hildi worked on her mother’s multi-purpose room.
+ also: Natalie got to pick the designers for her shoot; otherwise, “it would have been too risky,” she says.
