FOX summer will include American version of Pop Idol, celeb Boot Camp.
A U.S. version of Pop Idol, the UK’s follow-up to Popstars, is on FOX’s schedule for this summer. It’s called American Idol, and it debuts June 11 at 8:30 p.m. ET. Also on FOX’s summer schedule: Five one-hour standalone celebrity episodes of Boot Camp–assuming the production company can find stars to participate.
