Project Greenlight debuts Sunday.
Matt Damon and Ben Affleck’s first (and now maybe only, since The Runner was pulled) reality TV show to hit the air debuts Sunday. Project Greenlight follows an independent filmmaker as he produces a film that will eventually be released by Miramax. The movie, called “Stolen Summer,” has already been selected for Sundance. The 13 episodes chronicling the production of the film will air regularly at 10 p.m. ET on HBO, with two episodes airing back-to-back this Sunday. What critics are saying:
- “it’s abundantly clear that Project Greenlight works as television.”
- “an impressive exclamation mark.”
- “all the anxiety and hand-wringing such a project entails.”
- Project Greenlight “shares the features of that best of all reality shows.”
