R.J. Cutler producing medical school reality TV show Residents for TNT. R.J. Cutler is turning his documentary cameras on medical school residents, which will be filmed at “a major teaching facility,” according to the New York Daily News. TNT will air the 13 one-hour episodes starting next year.

Single Girls coming to ABC. In ABC’s upcoming Single Girls–another import from overseas that is being produced by Stone-Stanley–five women will live together and search for men to date. The nine-week show will also feature experts who will help them on their quest.
Colby is losing the Aztek, moving to LA, and becoming a movie star. On his way to L.A., where he has the William Morris Agency as his agent and may have a role in an upcoming Tom Cruise and Steven Spielberg movie, Colby says he’ll likely put the Aztek he won on eBay.
CBS confirms Survivor 3 location, says extras won’t be used. Survivor 3 will be taped in the Shaba National Reserve in Kenya, as was previously rumored. CBS also says that extras won’t be used during the actual filming of the series this time.
