Endemol chief: bad casting is to blame for Big Brother.

Endemol chief: bad casting is to blame for Big Brother.
John de Mol, creator of Endemol Entertainment, says Big Brother‘s problems in the U.S. (international versions have apparently not sucked like last summer’s CBS version) are because of a crappy cast–which he blames on CBS–and the fact that the show was changed enough to cater to American audiences. Earlier, CBS chief Les Moonves also blamed–surprise!–bad casting for the show’s crappiness.
+ plus: Spain’s Telefónica will buy Endemol for €5.5 billion.
