51 million watched Rich win Survivor.
Survivor‘s huge number of finale viewers made it the second-highest rated show this year besides the Super Bowl. Even though it lands in second place, for a summer show–and a CBS show, to boot–it’s “an enormous accomplishment,” the Washington Post says.
