Famous Food flops, VH1 moves it and its awful reality stars to a new night
The reality series that brought together a bunch of unlikable reality show cast members to open a restaurant that no one wants to go to, Famous Food, surprisingly flopped and is being moved to a new night and time.
The show debuted last week with just 430,000 viewers, making it “VH1’s least-watched series debut of the year” according to The Futon Critic.
Episode two aired yesterday, and the third airs in its new timeslot: Wednesdays at 8. VH1’s press release did not mention the dismal ratings, but just said it is a show that features Mike Malin and Lonnie Moore “mentor[ing] seven celebrities who will battle it out to win the bragging rights to a fully-operating restaurant of their own.”
