VH1 says Megan Hauserman is not getting a new show; she “want[s] to continue doing TV”

After cancelling her series Megan Wants a Millionaire, VH1 does not plan to give Megan Hauserman another series, despite a Radar report that said the network “bought her silence” by promising her a new show.

A VH1 spokesperson told Access Hollywood, “The story Radar.com ran about us giving Megan Hauserman a new show is not true/ If they had checked their story with us we would have told them so — but they did not fact check their story.”

Meanwhile, Megan told People that “It’s been a very challenging time” and “I’m happy to move forward at this point. It’s been a very upsetting, sad, tragic situation that nobody could have expected.”

How does she plan to move forward? “I really enjoy being on TV and I love my fans. I want to continue doing TV work,” she said.
