Transsexual Miriam, the star of There’s Something About Miriam, says she went on the UK show to find true love. (Deception, of course, is the best way to find one’s soulmate.) She says, “I did it because I wanted to know if real love exists. Can a person fall in love?” She adds that, despite the show’s premise revolving around her actually being a man, she wasn’t really trying to hide her penis: “I was trying to be myself and if anyone had asked me about myself I would have told them.”
