Changing Rooms ending after eight years.
The British series that spawned Trading Spaces and thousands of other home decorating shows will be ending after its current season. Eight years and fifteen seasons after its debut, Changing Rooms is concluding “after the final run in the autumn, but four specials episodes have been planned for next year,” the BBC reports. “A spokeswoman for the BBC said they plan to develop more shows based on family relationships and money.” The show is currently hosted by former designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen; previously it was hosted by Carol Smillie.
