The BBC’s filmed-for-television version of the The Stanford Prison Experiment, The Experiment, concluded filming a day early “to make sure no harm came to contributors,” BBC News reports. “[T]here was no violence” but there was “extremely high” tension. Also, the show has been edited because “some contributors did protest that the show did not accurately reflect what went on in the ‘cells’ and that some volunteers got more exposure than others.”
