ArchivesUK Popstars groups’ tour cancelled.
A tour featuring the two groups formed on Popstars: The Rivals has been cancelled probably because of “poor ticket sales,” the Mirror reports. And “TV company Granada is now considering suing the promoters for breach of contract,” according to the paper. One True Voice (recently voted the worst group in Britain) and Girls Aloud both plan to continue producing singles and albums. Earlier, the manager of One True Voice said he would “commit suicide” if his group’s single didn’t make it to number one; it did not, rising only to number two behind Girls Aloud.
