ArchivesParis Hilton may have been fired from her previous fake-reality show, but she “is set to sign” up for the UK’s Celebrity Big Brother, The Sun reports.
Paris would receive over £300,000 to appear on the show; that’s about $594,000 US. She’d be “the highest paid celeb on the show to date.” A source at the Channel 4 production told the paper, “We told Paris, ‘Name your price’. … We’re in firm talks, and it would be a fantastic coup to get her.”
Why do the show? The source said, “She wants people to see that she’s not a bimbo or a wildchild. The only time anyone hears about her is when she’s been up to no good — or saying something ridiculous.”
The celebrity edition of the UK show traditionally airs in January.
