Ratings for the UK’s new Big Brother 5 are up again after sliding over the weekend, and that’s in part due to an insane cast member named Kitten. So what are producers doing? Trying to get her to stop. (Someone check LA to see if nitwit producing partners Arnold Shapiro and Allison Grodner are missing and moonlighting as UK producers.) Kitten’s crimes include “smuggling a garden statue into the house and … trying to pick the lock on the alcohol fridge. She further angered Big Brother by ignoring Diary Room summons and climbing on the roof,” Brand Republic reports. Last night’s episode featured more rule-breaking, so apparently a random cast member will get booted for her crimes tonight. Earlier, an insider told the Daily Mirror that Kitten is “becoming so militant and the rest are starting to follow suit. Officially, bosses are putting on a brave face, saying they can handle her and she’s no match for evil Big Brother. Secretly, they’re concerned she’ll really screw things up.”
