The UK’s fourth Big Brother series begins tonight. Although the show is eliminating the rich and poor divisions, the new house includes “a secret pub” that “bosses hope … will spark more drunken antics,” according to Ananova. Channel 4 and Endemol are currently planning a teenage version of the show that will air sometime in the next year. The Independent reports that “the teenage show would be educational,” quoting a Channel 4 exec who says it could focus on “personal health, body awareness, and … issues around growing up, such as drugs, first jobs, leaving home for the first time.”
+ also: Not Very Big Brother parody, featuring toy contestants and a cardboard house, will begin webcasting tonight and air for seven weeks.
