UK Big Brother chalks its logo next to 3,000-year-old Uffington White Horse.
Next to a more than 3,000-year-old, nearly 400-foot long marking on a hillside, the UK’s Big Brother production company chalked the show’s logo and then filmed it for use in the series. The chalk outline of the show’s “eye” logo appeared next to a British landmark known as Uffington White Horse, which has been around since the Bronze Age; its origins are unknown. (The BBC has a picture of the eye next to the horse.) The Observer reports the show paid £2,000 to the National Trust to chalk the land; Channel 4 says the chalk will be washed off by rain.
+ plus: UK’s Fame Academy returning for second season.
