On Friday Take That singer Mark Owen won the UK’s latest celebrity Big Brother, beating a model and a TV show host. That episode was watched by 44 percent of the viewing audience—more than six million viewers. Throughout the show, “more than 1.6 million votes were cast by phone, text, internet and interactive TV, raising £220,000 for charities,” the BBC reports.
