The official word is that Paige Davis was ditched as host of Trading Spaces because the show is transitioning to a host-less format that will allow the series to tape new kinds of shows. So is its sibling show, Trading Spaces: Family, also going host-less? A rumor posted online suggests that it is, and thus Joe Farrell has also been let go as host. A Television Without Pity poster provides “a link to a post on the TLC board from a poster who visited a filming site today,” and that person was apparently “told by Christi, Joe is filming his last episodes in Florida this week.” The link provided to the official Discovery.com message boards doesn’t work, suggesting the post may have been deleted, or suggesting the person can’t link. In any case, a TLC spokesperson tells reality blurred that the rumor “is absolutely untrue,” so Farrell is sticking around.
