With 70 percent of the public’s vote, Jon and Stacy Laymon won Trading Spaces Home Free. Live from Orlando, Paige Davis first announced the twist: Each couple had the option of going for all or half of the $350,000 prize. Late in the show it was revealed that both teams were confident and wrote “all”; thus, Angel and Vilma didn’t receive any cash. Amid the cheers from Jon and Stacy’s friends, family, and fans, Paige told losers Angel and Vilma—who risked everything—“you’re the strongest couple I’ve ever met, ever.” Certainly that felt better than $350,000 or $175,000. Paige, by the way, has spent the last eight weeks in Central Florida, and she tells the Orlando Sentinel that the best part of the area is “The outlets. I loooove the Premium outlets.”
