New Changing Rooms host and designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen doesn’t want Trading Spaces to forget who its daddy really is: “I’m your great-great-great-great grandfather,” he says. Doing the US version, he tells Zap2it.com that he found the experience to be “much more real. It was so much more dirty,” although he doesn’t say if he means “dirty” in a paint-splashed or in a grrr sort of way. He also reveals that the show will soon come to China. The Trading Spaces “British invasion” concludes Saturday with Changing Rooms designer Anna Ryder Richardson hopping on board the dirty train, but of course the episodes will repeat forever.
