A new version of TLC’s Trading Spaces will begin airing July 6 on Sunday nights at 7 p.m. ET. Think of the show like Family Double Dare: The episodes will follow the same format as the regular show, but will feature families—adults and at least one teenager—redoing rooms. Trading Spaces regular designers and carpenters will be featured on the show, although new cast members will join the crew for both show, according to MediaPost. The only difference: The Sunday shows will be hosted by Joe Farrell, an stage actor and singer. It’s unclear whether the families will redo neighbors rooms or rooms in the same house; additionally, these new episodes are apparently different than the kids version that will air on Discovery Kids and NBC’s Saturday mornings.
