Archiveswoman saving money to redo Hildi’s room; says it “isn’t what I asked for.”
On Saturday’s new episode of Trading Spaces, designer Hildi “what the hell is she thinking?” Santo-Tomas spray painted a chair and covered a homeowner’s wall with records, which were each screwed into the drywall. Dana Howard, whose wall got screwed, says she is saving money to redo the room, including patching the holes left by the records and recovering the painted furniture. Of her reaction to seeing the room, Dana tells the San Antonio Express-News that the experience was “such a blur and, in a way, such a disappointment because the room isn’t what I asked for.” While that statement makes her sound as if she’s never seen the show before, she adds later that she “knew going in this could happen” and says “she would participate in the show again ‘in a heartbeat.’”
