Trading Spaces designer Hilda Santo-Tomas asked Changing Rooms designer “Handy” Andy Kane what he thought of her room during the crossover episode, and he told her “it was awful,” he tells Zap2it.com. “They were quite shocked at the fact that someone turned around and said that to her, which was the truth,” he says. He says liked Genevieve Gorder’s room, but Gen might not have been able to understand his complements. She says, “Half the time, I needed subtitles” when he was talking to her.
