Top Shot finally returns with an all-star season

History’s great competition series Top Shot will finally return after more than a year off the air: its first-ever all-star season will debut May 29.

The 16 returning contestants won’t be split into teams and will compete in a new, unexplained challenge called “The Proving Ground.” They’ll compete for $100,000 and a special edition Tahoe Q5i Speedboat.

The new season, hosted by Colby Donaldson, will feature the first four winners—Iain Harrison, Chris Reed, Dustin Ellerman, and Chris Cheng—in unspecified roles, will also take part in the All-Star season.

Season four ended exactly one year ago today, and though Colby tweeted last October that production had concluded, and again reassured fans in January, its status has been unclear, with no word from the History Channel until today.

Here are the cast members followed by a preview of season five:

  • Adam Benson, season 1
