ArchivesTyra Banks may seem like a concerned den mother on America’s Next Top Model, but the only interaction she has with the girls on the show occurs in front of the camera.
Mollie Sue, the cycle 6 participant who left the show last week, tells TV Guide about Tyra’s relationship with the models. “She’s not talking to us once those cameras leave! I know she’s busy, I know it’s crazy, but there’s no ‘Let me show Tyra my personality’ time at all,” she says.
After being eliminated instead of crazy Jade, Mollie Sue is still bitter. “I seriously was about to step forward and grab that picture [from Tyra]. I was upset,” she says. Mollie Sue is moving to New York to pursue her career, and at her side will be her husband, who surprised her with a trip to the courthouse to get married after she returned from the show.
