ArchivesTwo reality shows, one new and one returning, repeat their debut episodes tonight. Last week, with my DVR , I totally missed the premiere of America’s Next Top Model Cycle 5 and MTV’s The Reality Show.
UPN repeats America’s Next Top Model tonight at 8 p.m ET, the same time the show will repeat every week. New episodes air Wednesdays at 8. This is the first Janice Dickinson-less season, and without Janice, the show had record ratings. Most significantly, according to a UPN press release, Tyra’s show beat The Apprentice: Martha Stewart in certain demographics (adults 18-34 and women 18-34).
On MTV, the network brings us its most meta reality show ever, titled, naturally, The Reality Show. The second episode airs tonight at 10:30 p.m., while the first episode repeats tomorrow at 6 p.m., followed by the third at 6:30. The show will award its winner their own reality show on MTV; viewers vote for who gets “cancelled” each week.
