That makes her “the first black woman to be crowned ‘America’s Next Top Model,’” as hardbeatnews.com points out, although the selection of either of the final two would have yielded that result. Amanda was the first to be eliminated, and Eva faced off against Yaya for the title. “This is the girl every girl in America wants to know and wants to be,” Nolé said about Eva, while Nigel said “Yaya is one of the most beautiful girls we’ve had. She’s elegant. She’s regal. She’s arrogant.” Janice called her “Eva Diva,” and the diva won.
