Archivestonight, UPN’s Top Model 3 concludes, and The WB debuts Big Man on Campus.
It’s a big reality night on the netlets. UPN concludes the third season of America’s Next Top Model tonight at 8 p.m. ET, which will finally allow Tyra to say something other than the dreadful “You’re still in the running toward becoming America’s Next Top Model.” Amanda, Eva, and Yaya are all the only models who remain after 11 episodes.
Then at 9 p.m. ET, The WB borrows The Bachelor’s format and takes it to an Orlando college campus for Big Man on Campus. Fifteen women first scour the campus for a guy, who then gets to narrow down the group of 15. Instead of roses, he’ll given them pins, a la fraternity pins. The acronym BMOC apparently “stands for Big Morons of Central (Florida University at Orlando!), the college where the latest in reality TV mindlessness takes place,” The New York Post’s review says. The Chicago Tribune’s Maureen Ryan agrees, saying it “doesn’t add much to the dating-reality format honed by ‘The Bachelor/Bachelorette,’ except a more salacious frat-house vibe.”
