What once was the most highly anticipated episode of America’s Next Top Model 2’s season will air tonight, castrated by UPN’s frightened corporate overlords. According to Eurweb, UPN had producers “edit out the steamy sections of the whirlpool swirl” from the part that “showed the remaining contestants cavorting in a hot tub with some Milan locals.” Maybe they’ll reenact it with less-offensive sock puppets. The video preview of tonight’s episode on the show’s web site shows that some hot tub kissing remains (get Michael Powell on the phone, stat!) and, hysterically, clips from a photo shoot where the remaining models apparently pair up and pose naked with each other. Real sex: controversial. Simulated sex: not controversial. Got it. Four models remain: April, Mercedes, Shandi, and Yoanna.
