Tyra Banks’ $30 million last year made her prime-time TV’s highest-paid woman

Creating a reality competition that’s all about herself has worked well for Tyra Banks: The America’s Next Top Model creator and judge was the top-earning female in prime time TV last year, making an estimated $30 million from June 1, 2008, to June 1, 2009, according to Forbes.

The rest of the top 10 consists of women who star on major network TV shows. No other reality stars are in the top 10, and most on the list make less than a third of what Tyra does. Of course, she also has a daytime talk show and pulled in money by serving as an executive producer on ABC’s True Beauty and The CW’s Stylista, shows she should have paid us for watching.
