The first America’s Next Top Model says in Steppin’ Out magazine that she never received her promised modeling contract. Adrianne Curry blames this entirely on host and executive producer Tyra Banks: “Tyra really didn’t help us out and the show didn’t put any money into us … I was supposed to get a Revlon contract, but that fell through … We trusted Tyra but we’ve all been screwed over.” Tyra is defended by her lackey who blames Adrianne (“It’s unfortunate Adrianne feels this way since Tyra put her on the map.”) and a friend who blames UPN (“Tyra is not responsible for contracts … it is a UPN [network] issue. They dropped the ball, not Tyra.”)
