ArchivesThe third season of Bravo’s Top Chef will begin with an all-star competition between contestants from the previous two seasons.
The network announced today that Harold Dieterle, Stephen Asprinio, Tiffani Faison, and Dave Martin will face off against Ilan Hall, Sam Talbot, Elia Aboumrad, and Marcel Vigneron. With the exception of Stephen, that’s each show’s top four. They’ll compete “in a $20,000 cook-off for charity,” according to a Bravo press release. That “concludes with the two teams serving their meals to” the new cast.”
That new Top Chef 3 cast was also announced today. All of the show’s 15 chefs are in their late 20s and 30s. The youngest is 27; the oldest is 39. That’s a break from last season, which was won by a 24-year-old and featured chefs ages 23 to 46.
The all-star competition airs June 6 at 10 p.m. ET, with the regular show debuting one week later, on June 13. Besides moving to Miami Beach, the show is adding Ted Allen as a judge.
